Since publicly announcing their relationship in January of this year, drummer Travis Barker and socialite Kourtney Kardashian have been inseparable. The seemingly intense relationship between the blink-182 and one of the famous Kardashian sisters has now evolved to a new step: engagement.
In a photo posted to her Instagram this Monday, the 18th, Kourtney tagged Travis and wrote the words "forever" in the caption, showing images of the couple surrounded by hundreds of roses by the sea on Montecito beach, California. In the comments of the post, Kourtney's sister, Kim Kardashian , showed her support for the couple by leaving a series of heart and engagement ring emojis.
Throughout their time together, the couple never stopped hiding their love for each other. While Kourtney revealed her metal fan side by wearing a Cannibal Corpse , Travis immortalized his devotion to his beloved by tattooing her name and letting Kardashian herself get a tattoo on his arm that reads "I love you."
The couple's relationship has clearly also been good for the musician, who, with Kourtney's support, boarded a plane for the first time since the tragic accident he suffered in 2008. “It’s still very new to me, but having something that gives me strength and hope to overcome such traumatic events in my life means a lot. And she is definitely that for me. I’m invincible with her. I never even dreamed, I hadn’t considered flying again,” Barker commented.
