The lead singer of Trash Boat gave a testimonial for the Songs That Saved My Life campaign
The band Trash Boat shared a cover of Linkin Park ." The version was made in support of the Songs That Saved My Life campaign to raise awareness about mental health.
Vocalist Tobi Duncan also gave a statement about the song. “I remember seeing an interview with Chester Bennington in February 2017. About 5 months before his death. He spoke so openly about the suffering that, looking back, it was obviously a desperate cry for help.”
He continued: “May is Mental Health Awareness Month. With this cover comes the reminder to be the voice that counters the army of negativity in someone’s head. Make the first move, ask the tough question, and keep the conversation going. You can make a difference.”
The profits from the cover will be donated to mental health support and suicide prevention organizations.
