Trapt: Lead singer gets into a Twitter fight defending Trump and Nickelback.

Musicians were accused of being racist and xenophobic.

While some musicians are helping to make the world a better place during difficult times like the present, others are using their time in quarantine to argue on social media.

That's what the lead singer of the band TRAPT , Chris Taylor Brown, did, getting into several politically motivated arguments on Twitter.

The feud, which generated around 900 tweets on the band's official profile in just two days (!), began on March 16, with Taylor Brown responding to Avengers franchise actor Chris Evans , who was criticizing US President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus crisis.

The singer also clashed with activists, such as Talberta Swan , who accused the group of racism, xenophobia, white supremacy, among other things.

Furthermore, his music career became a point of contention between Chris and social media users. Internet users told the vocalist to "take advantage of his mediocre listener numbers for being a one-hit wonder from 18 years ago." Ouch .

Chris, however, countered by claiming to have more plays on streaming app called Pandora (who uses that?), than the band Hoobastank , cited in comparison by the internet user, and also accused him of being a disappointment to parents. The tweets from this discussion were even deleted. Low level, huh?

Even the band Nickelback got involved in the controversy. An internet user called the band Nickelback, and the Trapt vocalist responded that this wasn't a bad thing, as the band was very successful in comparison. Chris, in the end, even called the user "the biggest loser and idiot on Twitter".
