Paramount+ released the trailer for its newest documentary about Ozzy Osbourne promising to reveal new details about the singer since his domestic downfall in 2019. Ozzy : No Escape From Now premieres worldwide – except in Japan – on the platform on October 7th.

BAFTA winner Tania Alexander , the film follows Osbourne between the filming of Patient Number 9 (2022) and his farewell performance with Black Sabbath in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on July 5th.

In a press release, the documentary is described as follows: “This is Ozzy as you’ve never seen him before. An honest and personal portrait of one of the greatest rock stars in history. All the details of how the singer’s world stopped six years ago. Forcing him to contemplate who he really is. To confront his mortality and question whether he will be able to take the stage one last time.” [via Ultimate Classic Rock ].

The film also features interviews with Sharon Osbourne , the singer's widow and former manager, as well as the couple's children. There will also be special appearances by musicians such as Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses) , Robert Trujillo ( Metallica ) , Billy Idol , Maynard James Keenan (Tool) , and Zakk Wylde
