The music video for System of a Down's song reached 1 billion views on YouTube. The numbers were recorded on Friday, January 31st. This is the second time SOAD has reached the billion-view mark. The first song to achieve this was "Chop Suey," also from the album Toxicity , released in 2001.

System of a Down released their last studio album, Hypnotize, in 2005. Bassist Shavo Odadjian even spoke about release plans in a recent episode of Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk .

“We’ll always talk about it here and there, but I don’t know if it’s going to happen or not. I mean, if it does happen, great. But if it does happen, it needs to be incredible. It can’t just be us making riffs… It really needs to be the best it could possibly be.”
