Steve Lukather , guitarist for Toto , has confirmed the band's disbandment.
The new lineup, which included Steve Porcaro, David Paich, and Joseph Williams, finished the 40th-anniversary tour.
“I don’t know what the future holds, but I know this will be the last show in Philadelphia for the foreseeable future,” he said. “And certainly the end of this Toto setup.”
On Twitter, he posted a photo from his last show with the caption "Thank you to everyone around the world for 43 years."
