Band gains two new members

Torture Squad announced today that guitarist and vocalist André Evaristo has left the band. He will be replaced by two new members: Mayara “Undead” Puertas – Vocals (ex-Necromesis) and Rene Simionato – Guitar (ex-Em Ruínas and Guillotine).

“The invitation to join Torture Squad was definitely the most wonderful surprise I could have hoped for. From the start, there was a great connection, and rehearsals are going very well. We are very excited to show all of this live; we have a lot of hard work ahead of us!” says the new vocalist.

“The feeling is of being where I always wanted to be and honoring it! For me, TS is a collection of everything I like to listen to, playing these riffs within the genius and pulse of the band is one of the best experiences I've ever had and will continue to have for many decades! Greetings to you who are a TS fan, I'm here for you, representing what we all like to hear! The Torture has just begun!” declares the guitarist.

The new lineup is scheduled to debut in Florianópolis on November 19th, continuing the promotion of the live CD and DVD "Coup D' État Live," recorded in São Paulo during the tour for the album Esquadrão de Tortura.
