Indaiatuba, a city in the interior of São Paulo, will host the Tornado Fest! festival in March. The second edition of the event will feature nine national rock and metal bands in a space equipped with food trucks, flash tattoos, and merch shops.
Held for the first time since 2019, when the first edition featured eight bands, the event was created with the goal of boosting the local rock scene with bands from Indaiatuba as well as groups from other cities.
Announced for March 5, 2022, this year's Tornado Fest! will feature two stages and non-stop programming, with a food area consisting of food trucks and side attractions such as flash tattoos and shops for the event's bands.
The confirmed line-up includes Axty (Campinas), featured by Wikimetal in the National Pride column , Bayside Kings (Santos), Aslam (Indaiatuba), Incêndio (Indaiatuba), Triunfo (Indaiatuba), Doma (Guarulhos), About a Soul (Americana), Consolidate (Campinas) and Bullet Bane .
“We know that rock music in this country is a bit difficult and never has much space, especially in the interior, so the idea of the festival is to offer something different, an event where the bands are well received with good music, food, organized schedules and good promotion,” comments organizer Adriano Ferreira .
Tornado Fest! has also announced safety measures due to the pandemic, such as the mandatory use of masks and presentation of a complete vaccination card. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here .
