This week we travel to sunny California to bring you a band that revolutionized music when they emerged in the 80s: Red Hot Chili Peppers in Wikimetal's Top 3!
The Los Angeles band, founded in 1983, has always mixed elements of funk with rock, in addition to using other genres such as punk and a bit of psychedelia.
Currently, RHCP has two founders, Anthony Kiedis (vocals) and Flea (bass), in addition to Chad Smith (drums) and Josh Klinghoffer (guitar).
The band has sold over 80 million albums in their career and released their new album, "The Getaway," this month.
