New band also has its place in our Weekly Metal: Powerflo in the Wikimetal Top 3!
The rap metal supergroup Powerflo was founded this year by Sen Dog (Cypress Hill), guitarists Billy Graziadei (Biohazard) and Roy Lozano, bassist Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-Fear Factory), and Brazilian drummer Fernandão (Fernando Schaefer), who, in addition to being a member of Worst, has played brilliantly with Korzus, Pavilhão 9, Rodox, Kiko Loureiro solo, among others.
The debut album Powerflo was released this year and the band members describe their sound as a "cross between Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Cypress Hill" .
