This week, one of the bands that helped shape Punk Rock graces our Weekly Metal with its presence: Misfits are in the Wikimetal Top 3!
The band, recognized as one of the pioneers of the Horror Punk subgenre, was founded in 1977 by vocalist Glenn Danzig, bassist Jerry Only, and drummer Manny Martinez.
The band broke up in 1983, and a new version of the Misfits reunited in 1995, but without the original vocalist. Last month, for the first time in 33 years, the band reunited with Danzig, Only, and Doyle for two shows at Riot Fest with Dave Lombardo on drums.
