This week we travel back to the 70s to bring you an iconic American rock band: Blue Öyster Cult in Wikimetal's Top 3!

The band, which debuted with an album called "Blue Öyster Cult" in 1972, sold over 24 million albums and had a classic lineup consisting of Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, Eric Bloom, Allen Lanier, Joe Bouchard, and Albert Bouchard.

Having had a huge influence on the world of music and pop culture, Blue Öyster Cult has had covers recorded by Metallica, Iced Earth, Evanescence, Sebastian Bach, and many others.
