This week we pay tribute to one of the greatest drummers of all time: Bill Ward in Wikimetal's Top 3!
William Thomas “Bill” Ward was born in England and became one of the greatest drummers in history as a member of Black Sabbath throughout the first “Ozzy Era” and much of the rest of the band's history.
Interestingly, Bill Ward also sang on two Sabbath songs: "It's Alright " (from the album "Technical Ecstasy") and "Swinging The Chain " (from the album "Never Say Die!").
Despite not participating in the band's last album and the last two tours, Bill Ward is revered for his unique style and all the legendary songs he recorded.
