One of the bands that always generates controversy when we publish something about them here on Wikimetal, but which is undoubtedly one of the biggest of the new generation , is featured in this week's Power Trio Sound: Avenged Sevenfold!!!
The band, which has grown significantly and opened shows for giants like Iron Maiden and Metallica , among others, has been involved in a wide variety of situations in recent years:
From the tragic death of their drummer Jimmy "The Rev" to having their latest album "Hail To The King" reach number one in several countries, including England and Brazil. From controversial statements against gay marriage and support for George W. Bush to having their guitarist, Synyster Gates , recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of today, even by Zakk Wylde.
For better or for worse, the fact is that Avenged Sevenfold draws attention wherever they go and are one of the biggest names in the current scene.
