Top 3: Arch Enemy with Alissa White-Gluz

Replacing someone of Angela Gossow's caliber isn't for just anyone, and that's why it's the topic of our Weekly Metal: Arch Enemy with Alissa White-Gluz in Wikimetal's Top 3!

Arch Enemy was founded in 1996 in Sweden as a melodic death metal band by then-Carcass guitarist Michael Amott with Johan Liiva, who was replaced by German Angela Gossow in 2000. However, in 2014 Gossow became the band's manager and the vocals were taken over by Canadian Alissa White-Gluz.

The former vocalist and founder of The Agonist left her original band to take over vocals for Arch Enemy and, in addition to singing on War Eternal , will be featured on their second studio album, Will To Power , which will be released on September 8th.
