It's hard to imagine that a rock or metal band t-shirt would make a good impression at a job interview, but a Tool was hired after sporting a band t-shirt during the interview.

The happy ending story was posted on Reddit , initially only recounting the interview. "I just got out of a job interview. I'm wearing a Tool t-shirt today. After an hour of conversation, the recruiter said, 'I have just one last question: What's your favorite Tool song? Because I'm a big fan too!'" he wrote.

In the comments, many people expressed surprise at the courage to wear a band t-shirt to an interview, but the job was in programming – and the person responsible for recruitment was also wearing a Church of Misery band t-shirt.

According to the user, the answer to the final interview question was: “It’s impossible to choose just one, but since I saw their shows last month, I’ve been listening to '7empest' non-stop.” And everything worked out: according to Loudwire , the post was updated with confirmation of the signing.
