Tony Martin , who sang on six Black Sabbath from 1987 to 1995, released his solo single "As The World Burns" last Friday. The song is part of his upcoming album, Thorns , which will be released on January 14th.
Guests on the new album include Scott McClellan , Danny “Danté” Needham , Magnus Rosén , Greg Smith , and Tony's youngest son, Joe .
In a statement, Tony revealed that this will be the most "Tony Martin" album of his career and promised several surprises, in addition to praising Scott McClellan's musical style. "It's diverse, melodic, powerful, provocative, and of the highest level I've ever worked with. I believe there are still stories to be told, songs to be sung, and I feel this album has achieved everything I could have hoped for," he said.
