Tony Iommi says he would like to remix Black Sabbath's album 'Born Again'.

The guitarist revealed that he has found the album's master tapes and would like to work with them.

Tony Iommi said during an interview with Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk (via Blabbermouth Black Sabbath 's album Born Again .

Released in August 1983, Sabbath's eleventh album is the only one the band recorded with Ian Gillan on vocals. “Apparently, [my manager] found a connection there, where [the master tapes] were. I haven't heard anything else. We're waiting to receive them now. They found out where they were, in some record label's library,” the guitarist said.

“Obviously, I would love to do that, I would love a version that sounds good. Because I think it was a very good album. And when we first did it in the studio, it sounded great. But when it came out on record, it was very muffled and it wasn't good. So, I want to try to do something with it.”

Born Again was recorded by Ian Gillan (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), Bill Ward (drums), and Geoff Nicholls (keyboards). After the promotional tour, Gillan reunited with Deep Purple.
