In 1985, Black Sabbath reunited for the iconic Live Aid festival, and many stories and memories emerged from it, but nothing funnier than the story Tony Iommi told SiriusXM radio.
According to the musician, during the rehearsal for the performance, two unknown women showed up, and Tony immediately asked security to remove them, saying it was a private rehearsal and they couldn't be there. What Tony didn't know was that one of the women was Madonna .
The guitarist explained that the band didn't have much time to rehearse for the performance and had to use a small room. With the situation a bit cramped, two women showed up and Tony immediately said, "People are coming in. Tell them it's a private rehearsal.".
He said the situation was "a little awkward" because, in addition to not recognizing Madonna, she was also going to perform at the event. What a situation, huh? Listen to the interview below.
