Tony Iommi gave fans great news! After releasing the solo track "Scent of Dark" and launching a perfume of the same name, the legendary Black Sabbath confirmed the possibility of new releases in the not-too-distant future.
“There’s a good chance. I like doing this. I have a lot of material, I just want to start putting it all together now. Because there are 400 or 500 riffs on my phone and I have to get them out,” he said in an interview with British radio station Planet Rock (via Blabbermouth ).
According to Iommi, the issue now is establishing a logistical plan to work on these songs with a sound engineer, a process interrupted by the limitations of the pandemic. “But then, when that happened and it wasn’t possible to have anyone at the house or in the studio, we stopped for a while. (…) I have to get those things back in place,” he added.
