Tony Iommi Ozzy Osbourne 's next studio album , the successor to Ordinary Man (2019).

The revelation was made in a recent interview with Rolling Stone about "Scent Of Dark," Iommi's solo single released last Thursday, the 25th. "As you've probably already read, I worked with Ozzy on his album. I wrote a whole track and played the solo on it. It's awful, really… No, I'm kidding. No, it's good. It's really good," he said humorously.

Iommi's composition on the next Prince of Darkness will likely be the same song featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers , who was previously confirmed for the project. "I think they got Chad [Smith] to play drums on that one. I've left it in their hands now," he continued.

Without giving many details about the track, Tony Iommi praised Ozzy's work on the song. "I like what Ozzy sang on the song. I think he did a very good job," he concluded.

Among other guest appearances on Ozzy's eleventh album, which still has no announced release date, are Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters , producer Andrew Watts , and Robert Trujillo of Metallica .
