The album features a large list of collaborators including Dave Grohl, Henry Rollins, Billy Corgan, Brian May, Sera Tankian, and others.
In the interview, Iommi reveals that the album could have had an unusual collaboration: rapper Eminem. He says that the rapper tried to participate in the album but the request never reached him.
The guitarist also mentions that Kid Rock was originally planned to appear on the album, but his track was ultimately left out during the final stages of production.
Regarding guest appearances that made it onto the final product, he recalls that Dave Grohl was only going to sing on "Goodbye Lament" but ended up playing the drums on the track after much insistence. Tony remembers explaining to the Foo Fighters frontman that Matt Cameron was responsible for the drums on the album, but he eventually gave in to the request.
