A collaboration between legends, and even more so for a good cause? That's what Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath and Nick Mason of Pink Floyd seem to be planning together!

Le Heavy magazine , Iommi responds to the public's relentless desire to see a collaboration between him and his good friend Brian May , and ends up talking about a partnership with another great Briton, "We've been talking for years about doing something together, and we still haven't managed to make it happen yet, we haven't gone any further with it. At the moment Brian is going through a lot of medical issues , but who knows? It would be great to do something at some point."

“Right now I’m making some ideas happen myself and I played on a track with Nick Mason last week,” he reveals. “We’re doing a charity record for cancer [related] initiatives. I was asked if I would play and create some riffs for it. There are a lot of other celebrities doing something for this album and I said, ‘Yeah, that would be cool to do,’ and I think there’s me, Nick Mason, and I think Rooney Wood doing something on that song too. I’m not sure,” he concludes.
