Guitarists can make an album together

According to the British newspaper Birmingham Mail, Tony Iommi and Brian May are working on a way to collaborate on a project.

Iommi told the newspaper that May visited him when he was diagnosed with cancer, and he showed him some riffs he had composed but decided not to use. May told him that the work should be recorded, and the idea for an album by the two of them emerged.

"My focus is on Black Sabbath right now. But we might do something together using these riffs somehow."

The guitarists said they envisioned a way to make the riffs available to fans, so that everyone could create something based on them. May said: “That way, you could make your music with Tony Iommi on guitar. Wouldn’t that be amazing?”
