Toni Cornell , daughter of the late Chris Cornell , former vocalist of Soundgarden and Audioslave , has released "Far Away Places," a song produced by her father. The single is Toni's first original material and was written when she was only 12 years old.

Now 15 years old, she officially debuts her musical career with the song that has already been used as the soundtrack and inspiration for the short film of the same name. Currently, the work is being screened at various festivals in the field.

“Far Away Places” was recorded in February 2017, three months before Chris's death, in the family studio at their home in Miami, United States. The song, in addition to being a beautiful tribute to Cornell's work, will also benefit the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, which will receive all profits from streams and downloads.

In August 2017, following the deaths of Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park , Toni Cornell participated in a tribute to the singers by singing Leonard Cohen alongside OneRepublic on Good Morning America . Toni also released a duet she recorded with her father Prince 's song "Nothing Compares 2 U" .
