Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer spoke in an interview with CantonRep about whether the band has plans to release a new album. Check out his statement:

"It's difficult to make the decision to record a new album these days, because with all the time, effort, and resources that go into making another one, in almost every case it's not worth it. It becomes a waste of time in a way. Creatively, it's nice to have a way to let off steam sometimes, but it seems like there are more important things to spend your hours doing."

"In this day and age, there are many platforms where you can put your music that aren't the traditional ones. We did this crazy thing with Kiss and Scooby-Doo last year, and it's a childish thing, but in terms of attracting a new, young audience, it's amazing how many things you can do for your career. It's more about continuing to think outside the box. The world is very different today."
