Tommy Lee remains optimistic after undergoing hand surgery.

The drummer shared photos and a video of the procedure on his social media.

Tommy Lee , drummer for Mötley Crüe , shared photos on his Instagram and a humorous message about the results of the surgery he had on his right hand.

The musician briefly mentioned Dupuytren's contracture, a condition that causes internal stiffness in the hands and contraction of the fingers, a problem that hindered his movements and limited his function as a drummer and keyboardist.

“Well, kids, it’s show and tell time – hopefully this doesn’t ruin your lunch,” Lee wrote. “Just three weeks ago I underwent hand surgery by @drcohenhandsurgeon. He addressed two debilitating issues for me as a drummer, keyboardist, and pretty much everything related to my right hand.”

“I have my life back and my livelihood,” he continued. “And to you drummers and musicians, I can say that it’s possible to fix it! And in the last video I can spin my drumsticks again. I haven’t been able to do that for a few years due to Dupuytren’s disease and carpal tunnel problems that have now disappeared!”

The images are explicit and not recommended for sensitive viewers.

Tommy Lee plans new releases for 2024.

Lee plans to return to the road with Mötley Crüe starting in May with shows scheduled in North America. The musicians are working on new music, including "Canceled," which was inspired by the internet cancellations they experienced.
