Instagram account , Tommy Lee , drummer for Mötley Crüe , criticized artists who are promoting releases and tours while California suffers from devastating wildfires.
In the text, the musician said: “It disgusts me to no end to see so many people only caring to post on damn social media! Guys, nobody gives a damn about when your next album is coming out or when your next show will be, when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time! I understand that a little relaxation is always necessary, but Jesus Christ, let it go and maybe stop to see who needs help, if you can.”
The fire started on January 7th, and according to the Los Angeles Times , as of the time of this publication, it has already killed 25 people and destroyed at least 12,000 buildings, in addition to at least 23 people being missing.
Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith even lost his home to the fire .
