Drummer says he's satisfied with his work.

In an interview with Rythim Magazine, drummer Tommy Clufetos (currently touring with Black Sabbath) spoke about filling in for the band's original drummer, Bill Ward. Clufetos explained that he accepted the job because he knew someone would need to replace Ward.

“I saw it as an opportunity to do something new and play good music. If I hadn’t done it, someone else would have. I thought, ‘Will I regret not doing it? Yes.’ So I had to do it,” said the drummer.

Clufetos also commented that he understands the resentment of Black Sabbath fans: “I understand the mixed feelings and emotions. But I’m here to do my best and give people the experience of listening to the music. I think I did that. I think people left satisfied with my work.”

Tommy Clufetos only participated in the Black Sabbath tour, missing out on the CD recording, which was done by Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk.
