Tom Petty: “For Real” gets an emotional music video directed by the musician's daughter.

"I cried a lot during the editing process," revealed the daughter.

Last year, Adria, daughter of Tom Petty , went into the studio with Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell to revisit some of her father's material. "For Real," a track recorded in 2000 but never released, caught her attention.

According to her, "For Real" explains why Petty chose to make a living from music, and that's why she chose to give the track a beautiful video with a compilation of images of the singer.

“I cried a lot during the editing process,” revealed Adria. Her father, Tom Petty, passed away at age 66 on October 2, 2017, after suffering a drug overdose. Watch the video below and celebrate the musician's legacy.
