"Put a cell phone in front of me and I'll throw it."
Tom Morello threw a fan's cell phone into the crowd after trying to take a selfie with the guitarist.
During a show at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Illinois last Saturday, the 15th, the guitarist from Rage Against the Machine invited some fans to join him on stage. While he was playing a solo, one of the fans tried to take a selfie with the musician.
When he saw what the fan was trying to do, Morello grabbed the phone and threw it into the audience before returning to his solo. Later, he shared a video of the moment on his social media, saying, "Put a phone in front of me and I'll throw it.".
After the post, a fan asked if he would take a selfie with a fan on stage, and he replied, "All day long." See the video of the event below.
