Rage Against The Machine fans still hoping for a new album from the band may have to wait a little longer. In a recent interview with NME , Tom Morello dismissed any possibility of a new studio album from the group in the near future.

When asked about possible new RATM music, Morello replied: “We have no plans beyond starting rehearsals in January.” The rehearsals in question are for the band's highly anticipated reunion tour with Run The Jewels , scheduled for the first half of 2022.

Regarding how he feels about going on tour soon, Tom Morello said: “I’m texting friends who are on tour right now, asking them how it’s going. I want to be able to fully immerse myself in the joy and celebration of resilience that is a rock 'n' roll show when done right. I don’t want to be wondering if the audience is catching some disease and then going home to pass it on to their parents.”
