The talented young artist Nandi Bushell , known on the internet for some time, had one of her videos go viral for playing Rage Against The Machine in tribute to the Black Lives Matter . The performance was so incredible that it caught the attention of guitarist Tom Morello , who decided to give the girl a gift.
The artist gave the fan a copy of his classic guitar, which Nandi had already "copied" by writing "Soul Power" on it, like Morello, on one of her instruments. The guitarist also made a video for Nandi talking about her and the gift: "I wanted you to have this guitar as a gift from me to you, because you are amazing and seeing someone so incredible who is so young gives me hope for the future."
“I didn’t start playing guitar until I was 17, so you’re way, way ahead of me, and I’m looking forward to hearing much more of your music in the future. You have so much soul, and here’s some ‘Soul Power’ to go with it. Keep it up!”, Morello concluded.
