Legendary guitarist Tom Morello joins forces with metalcore powerhouse Beartooth to release the new single “Everything Burns” this Wednesday, the 17th.
Produced by two-time GRAMMY-nominated composer, musician, and producer Tyler Smyth ( Falling in Reverse, I Prevail, Blessthefall, Royal & the Serpent Caleb Shomo 's vocals .
Caleb Shomo, vocalist of Beartooth, commented: “Creating 'Everything Burns' was the definition of lightning in a bottle. Pressure makes diamonds. When I got a call saying that Tom Morello wanted me to sing on a song for a big project and it was due in a few hours, I had no idea what would happen, but I gave it my all and it became something truly once in a lifetime. I couldn't be more honored to be a part of this with Tom and the whole Final Fantasy family who made it possible. Life goal achieved.”
The song made its in-game debut in the latest Final Fantasy XIV , where players can experience the track in one of the game's most crucial parts – earlier today it premiered on SiriusXM Octane and is now available globally on all streaming platforms along with a music video directed by AxiA.
Regarding his collaboration with Beartooth, Morello added:
“Everything Burns is a riff-heavy song that feels like it’s coming straight from the streets. Collaborating with Beartooth and super-producer Tyler Smyth to forge this ferocious next single from my upcoming solo album was a real thrill.”
