The guitarist's new project will feature a wide variety of collaborations

Tom Morello has been on a whirlwind lately. In addition to his work with Prophets of Rage , who will be releasing an album soon, the guitarist has announced that he will be releasing an album titled Atlas Underground .

With its release scheduled for October 12th by Mom + Pop, Morello revealed a long list of collaborators who will be featured on the album: Knife Party, Bassnectar, Big Boi, Killer Mike, Portugal. The Man, Whethan, Vic Mensa, Marcus Mumford (Mumford & Sons), Steve Aoki, Tim McIlrath (Rise Against), K. Flay, Pretty Lights, Carl Restivo, Gary Clark Jr., Nico Stadi, Leikeli47, GZA, RZA, and Herobust.

To accompany the announcement, two tracks were made available on streaming services and can be heard below. “We Don't Need You” features Vic Mensa, while “Battle Sirens” features Knife Party.
