Tom Morello accuses Trump administration of using Nazi slogan

Rage Against the Machine guitarist criticized phrase displayed during press conference

Tom Morello accused the Trump administration of using an alleged Nazi slogan at the podium of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem during a press conference.

The meeting, held on January 8th in New York, addressed the government's immigration actions following the shooting death of Renee Nicole Good Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Minneapolis, an event that generated widespread national attention. In photos and videos circulating on social media, the phrase "One of ours , all of yours " was displayed on the podium of Kristi Noem, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Last Monday, the 12th, the guitarist posted on his Instagram a critique directed at the United States government through a series of images, including one of himself holding a guitar with the inscription "Fuck Trump," and stated that the expression was a "Nazi mass murder slogan."

"Today, the Trump administrator quoted the Nazi mass murder slogan: 'One of ours, all of yours,' used when an SS officer was killed and the Nazis murdered all the male residents of the village in response. If any MAGA remain after this, you have made an irrevocable choice," the post read.

Although Morello referred to the quote as a literal Nazi slogan, there is no reliable historical evidence that "One of ours, all of yours" was a formal slogan of the Nazi regime in official documents or propaganda.

However, according to Loudwire , the quote reflects the Nazi policy of collective punishment, which is considered a war crime under international law. “No protected person may be punished for an offense they did not personally commit. Collective punishments, and likewise all measures of intimidation or terrorism, are prohibited,” states the International Humanitarian Law Database .
