Tom Hunting, from Exodus, is adapting to a new post-cancer lifestyle: "Life is good."

The drummer confirmed that he is cancer-free and no longer needs to undergo chemotherapy.

After undergoing a full gastrectomy in July 2021 , Tom Hunting recently confirmed that doctors “can’t find” any trace of cancer in his body at the moment.

Exodus drummer Hunting discovered he had a stomach tumor in April and remained positive throughout his treatment. In an interview with the Chilean channel iRock.cl , Hunting thanked the entire metal community and science for their help in his recovery and also commented on his new lifestyle.

“I underwent surgery on July 12th and I’m adjusting to a new lifestyle and a different kind of relationship with food. But life is good. I don’t need chemotherapy anymore because they managed to remove everything. That’s incredible. They reversed a bad situation for me, so I’m very grateful,” said the drummer.

Initially, Tom Hunting was reluctant to celebrate the end of his cancer , but during an Exodus show in September, the drummer thanked the fans for their support and shouted "fuck cancer" before playing "Metal Command".
