Todd La Torre , vocalist of the progressive metal band QUEENSRŸCHE, recently released the impactful music video for the song “Vexed,” which is part of his first solo album, Rejoice In The Suffering , released in February.
The video is age-restricted on YouTube and intersperses moments of La Torre with real images showing scenes of social chaos around the world, representing "a nation in suffering," as he sings in the song.
“'Vexed' highlights the sad reality that many nations and their people are facing,” said the singer. “Parallels between the present and past of civil rights movements, social injustices, and revolts around geopolitical scenarios are scattered throughout the video, showing images from various countries without exclusivity.”
“This video is an artistic collage of performance, the menacing side of humanity, and unwavering selfless heroism. The overall message is that we have to learn and understand the profound meaning of the past and present if we want to see any progress in the future,” he concluded.
