Todd La Torre , frontman of Queensryche, has a release date set for his first solo album, Rejoice In The Suffering , which arrives on February 5th via Rat Pak Records ( check out this and all other rock and metal albums scheduled for 2021 here ).
To get fans even more excited about the release, the artist decided to release the visuals for the project's second single, "Vanguards Of The Dawn Wall," which can be seen below.
“'Vanguards Of The Dawn Wall' is a full-throttle thrasher,” explains Todd. “We wanted a practical and fast 'shredder' with intense guitar riffs, solos, drums, and vocals. This song was inspired by a few different documentaries surrounding two specific climbs in nearly insurmountable locations. Although it was initially written about those climbs, this song is really intended to represent and embody this very special generation and the spirit of all climbing.”
