Tobias Forge , from Ghost Impera album tour (2022). The first leg of the shows was completed in North America in September.

In an interview with Metal Hammer , the frontman , also known as Papa Emeritus IV, commented on the surprises awaiting fans: “We’ll have some changes before the tour – a good change. We’re not going to stay quiet. Some things are public, others aren’t visible to the public, but there are many things being prepared.”

Regarding tour plans, which so far have not had any information released about shows in Brazil, the vocalist said: “We are touring a lot again. In previous album cycles, we did four legs in America and two or three in Europe, and we repeated that. We're going to all territories next year, but there will be a European tour, an American tour. We're going to spend some time everywhere.”.

“There will be something in Upper Asia, at the other extreme – a very well-established place with a lot of fascination with pop culture, and the home of video games. And there will be something in the world of Oceania, and there may be something south of Panama, and there may be something a little north of Panama. It seems pretty solid.”.

The news, however, didn't stop there. Even though the most recent album was released just under a year ago, Tobias Forge revealed to Revolver that he's already thinking about Ghost's next project. "I'm already looking at something that I think will be the next album. I already know what I want to do."

Impera not only reached the number one spot on the 2022 best-selling albums chart in the United States, but was also chosen by Heavy Consequence as one of the 30 best hard rock and metal albums of the year.
