In an interview with Wikimetal , Tobias Forge , vocalist and leader of Ghost , revealed that his first tattoo was the cover of a Sepultura .

Forge, who makes no secret of his passion for Brazilian metal bands, spoke with our team and revealed a list of Brazilian heavy metal names that have influenced him throughout his life, admitting his preference for more "underground and older" groups.

“Sepultura is definitely one of the most influential bands in Brazil for me,” he reveals. “I even have a tattoo on my arm of the cover of the EP Bestial Devastation (1985). It was the first tattoo I ever got, when I was 18 or 19 years old. I think the first three or four Sepultura albums were very important to me.”

The Ghost frontman went on to mention Brazilian bands that have influenced him throughout his life: “INRI , by Sarcófago, meant a lot to me. I still think it’s absolutely wonderful. Mutilator is cool. I know Holocausto has aged, but Vulcano ’s Bloody Vengeance is a great album. Mystifier , great band. I think most of the bands I like from Brazil are very underground and old. But nowadays, a band I really like is Crypta . I think they’re incredible.”

Avid vinyl record collector Tobias Forge also mentioned which Brazilian records are missing from his collection and made an appeal to Wagner Antichrist , from the former death metal band Sarcófago :

"I'm looking for Sarcófago's first original demo, Satanic Lust . So, Wagner Antichrist , if you're listening, please get in touch! Or DD Crazy . Any of you. I want the original, that's what I'm looking for. I have all the others, but Satanic Lust , that's the one I don't have, the original. With Wagner's label inside the cover. It needs to be the original."
