Tobias Forge , best known as the frontman and mastermind behind the fantastic universe of Ghost , is an avowed fan of Crypta .
Last Thursday, the 20th, Fernanda Lira , vocalist of the Brazilian death metal band, posted a photo of an excerpt from Metal Hammer UK where Tobias Forge reveals his admiration for the female group.
“Crypta blows my mind,” says the vocalist. “They’re a really cool combination of death metal and black metal, but also very decipherable. You can sing along to everything she [Fernanda Lira] sings. They’re fantastic and I wish them all the best.”
In her Instagram post, Fernanda Lira seemed emotional about the recognition and wrote: “This is not only a great achievement for the band, but also… HOW AMAZING IS THIS? hahaha”.
The vocalist also commented that she is looking forward to returning to Brazil in September with Crypta, opening for Ghost's two shows in São Paulo on the 20th and 21st.
