Arnaldo Antunes , Nando Reis , Sergio Britto , and Tony Bellotto used social media to condemn the unauthorized use of the song "O Pulso" by Titãs .

The banner was used in a video calling for a demonstration in support of Jair Bolsonaro's government.

Titãs has already announced that it is taking legal action to have the song removed from the air. The band released the following message of repudiation on its social media:

In a second post, the official Titãs Instagram account stated: “We, Titãs, do not support the Bolsonaro government. Nor do we condone attacks on democracy and democratic institutions. We have not authorized the use of any of our music. And we are taking legal action to have these videos removed from the internet.”

The track “O Pulso” is present on the 1989 Õ Blesq Blom. Marcelo Fromer .

On Twitter, former Titãs member Nando Reis also spoke out. He shared the video in which Arnaldo Antunes expresses his displeasure with the post that was shared by Olavo Carvalho:

"Even though I am not the author of the song in question, I hereby express my repudiation of its misuse, as it is part of my history and in which I am present playing the bass guitar."

Check out Antunes' video where he says, "It's very upsetting to see something I created being used against all my principles. This use goes against everything I value, defend, and believe in. Institutions like the National Congress and the Supreme Federal Court preserve what little democracy we have left."
