The band Titãs, currently formed by Branco Mello, Sérgio Britto and Tony Bellotto, announced this Monday, the 15th, the tour Titãs – Cabeça Dinossauro 40 anos , which is scheduled to premiere on March 28, 2026, at Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo.
The tour also has confirmed stops in: Belo Horizonte (April 25th); Rio de Janeiro (May 9th) and Curitiba (July 18th). In 2026, one of the most iconic and provocative albums in Brazilian music turns 40. Cabeça Dinossauro , released by Titãs in 1986, transformed the band and Brazilian rock itself by breaking patterns, challenging conservatism, and translating, in sound and fury, the spirit of a country in transition. Brazil was trying to relearn the meaning of freedom after two decades of censorship and authoritarianism, and the album became a raw portrait of a nonconformist generation. Four decades later, in a country once again marked by polarization and intolerance, the cry of Cabeça Dinossauro sounds necessary and relevant again. It is this force of expression—of resistance, of questioning, and of reflecting on the present.
