Rehearsals are in full swing, the repertoire has already been chosen, and it won't be long before the public can experience the Titãs Encontro , which brings together the seven members of the group's classic lineup in a series of 21 performances across 17 cities – in addition to a confirmed trip to Portugal, with a show scheduled for November 3rd at the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
The premiere takes place on April 27th and 28th, with tickets sold out, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro. The expectation of music fans to witness the reunion of Arnaldo Antunes , Branco Mello , Charles Gavin , Nando Reis , Paulo Miklos , Sérgio Britto , and Tony Bellotto on stage is high: the Titãs Encontro already has a confirmed audience of 500,000 people across the country.
In São Paulo, for example, two dates at Allianz Parque are sold out (tickets are still available for the third date on the Eventim ); the same is happening in Belo Horizonte, where the first date sold out quickly and now the people of Minas Gerais have a new opportunity to see this important moment for contemporary music (tickets available on the official tour website ).
It's worth remembering that the Titãs Reunion will also give significant recognition to the group's guitarist, Marcelo Fromer , who passed away in 2001. Beyond the tribute inherent in the compositions and interpretations offered by the band on this tour, the reunion will feature a special appearance by the artist's daughter, singer Alice Fromer .
