Timothée Chalamet , nominated for an Oscar for Call Me by Your Name , is set to play Bob Dylan in the musician's biopic.
The film will be directed by James Mangold Johnny Cash biopic , Walk the Line.
According to an anonymous source from Rolling Stone , the film will show the musician's entire journey from the beginning of his career at age 19, when he arrived in New York. The film will also "involve the entire folk scene of the time," featuring names like Pete Seeger, Joan Baez , and Woody Guthrie .
Mangold is also known for Logan and Ford v Ferrari , while Chalamet starred in the recent Little Women and The King.
