A restraining order has been granted to Tim Commerford.
Rage Against The Machine , Audioslave , and Prophets of Rage bassist Tim Commerford has accused his ex-wife of "repeated abuse." A restraining order was granted a day after the couple's divorce.
Tim filed for a restraining order to prevent domestic violence on Friday, November 30th. According to him, Aleece Commerford appeared "uninvited and unannounced" at a house where the bassist was. She allegedly used an iPhone and her "fists" to cause injuries to the musician's face and body.
Tim provided photos with blood as evidence of the injuries. One of them can be seen below.
Aleece must stay 100 yards (approximately 91 meters) away from Tim and any location where he stays, plays, or rehearses with the bands. She is also prohibited from disparaging her ex-husband in front of the children or preventing Tim from visiting his children.
On Friday, Tim publicly confirmed his separation from his wife in a statement. “After 17 years of marriage to Aleece Dimas, I sadly announce our divorce. The decision was made after much thought and consideration.”
Commeford and Prophets of Rage are preparing to release their second album in 2019.
