Till Lindemann , frontman of Rammstein , recreated a performance by artist Andy Warhol to star in an advertisement for a vegan product brand.
The German rock star was recruited by the LikeVegan , present in European countries and the United States, to recreate Andy Warhol's performance of eating a hamburger from the famous Burger King , part of the documentary 66 Scenes From America (1982), which had also been done by Iggy Pop in a music video .
Characterized as the pop art artist, Lindemann perfectly recreates the original video, eating the burger with the same restrained ritual as Warhol in the scene, before appearing to devour the snack. “I’m Till Lindemann and I just ate a burger made of plants,” he says at the end. Watch below.
