A few hours ago, the German newspaper Bild reported that Till Lindemann , vocalist of Rammstein , had tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized in the ICU of a hospital in Germany. Now, the group has released a statement on social media explaining that Lindemann, in fact, tested negative for the virus.

According to the newspaper, the musician performed in Moscow on the 14th with the Lindemann , and upon arriving in Germany, the country where he lives, he developed a fever and went to the hospital. He was immediately tested and placed in intensive care.

The newspaper also stated that Till Lindemann was thankfully recovering and remained under intensive observation, as he had also been diagnosed with pneumonia, a result of COVID-19. Media outlets worldwide, including us at Wikimetal, reported the false result, as the vocalist's representatives, when questioned, said they would release a statement later, without denying the positive coronavirus test.

In the statement, the band's team said that last Thursday, the 26th, Lindemann was hospitalized on doctor's orders. He spent the night in the ICU, but apparently has just been released from intensive care as he is feeling better. The statement ends with the team stating that Till tested negative for the new coronavirus.
