Thursday , an emo/post-hardcore band, will come to Brazil for the first time to perform a single show in São Paulo.
The show will take place on April 6th at Carioca Club, and the opening act will be American vocalist Tim Kasher of Cursive , who will perform an acoustic set.
The band will also be performing in Santiago, Chile, on April 4th at Blondie.
The tour is a production of Powerline Music & Books , which will soon bring the book Someone Who Isn't Me , by vocalist Geoff Rickly , to the national market.
Thursday emerged in New Jersey in 1997 and gained significant prominence within the scene with the albums Waiting (1999) and Full Collapse (2001), as well as War All the Time (2003), which sold over 74,000 copies in its first week of release and reached number 7 on the Billboard 200.
